Harvest Snaps are the bomb diggity. I had tried the Snapea Crisps, but this is the first time I’ve heard of the Lentil Snaps, and I’m not quite sure where they’ve been my whole life. They were a must-have on my camping trip.
The Lentil Snaps are a bit crispier than the Snapea Crisps. It’s an interesting texture, definitely more crispy than “snappy.” And oh.my.god the Tomato Basil flavor is perfection. One serving (22 satisying pieces) has 120 calories, 6 grams of fat (versus 10 in potato chips), 2 grams of dietary fiber and 5 grams of protein. Baked, not fried. And they’re gluten-free if that’s your thing.
I always portion out a bag into individual serving sizes because I cannot be trusted around an entire bag. With the large serving size though, by the time I think, “Hmm.. I’ve probably eaten too many,” I really haven’t!
I guess my only complaint is that these bad boys don’t come in a larger bag.
