Influenster Mary Kay VoxBox

Mary Kay Influenster VoxBox

Today I bring you a very exciting Influenster VoxBox from Mary Kay. Mary Kay is not a brand I have much firsthand experience with, but it’s definitely one that I’ve heard of. I have always had this perception of Mary Kay being a little old for me, but the selection of products is very impressive.

My thoughts below are mainly first impressions, so stay tuned for more formal reviews!

I really like the look of their boxes, the black with light pink accents.

Mary Kay Gel Eyeliner

The eyeliner has good payoff, and is easily smudged. I’ve only used the brush a couple times, but I already don’t care for the shape because it doesn’t allow for a nice, thin line. The gel eyeliner is great with my angled eyeliner brush.

The top line is a light, smudged application, and the bottom is a solid, thick line.

Mary Kay Nourishine Plus Lip Gloss

I love the color of Mango Tango. I was intimidated at first, but it’s sheer, so you have nothing to worry about!

Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara

Lash Love Mascara is the bomb dot com. I love the brush head because it evenly distributes the product and allows you to get in to the corners of your eyes very easily. The tip is also great for applying mascara to the bottom lashes.

The bronzer is nice because it is smooth and satin-like, and really doesn’t have any shimmer- great for contouring. The blush is a nice peachy-pink.

Mary Kay Translucent Loose Powder

I haven’t formed a solid opinion on this one just yet, but I do like the twist-top sifter that allows you to lock in the product.

Mary Kay Brushes

The Powder Brush has a rough texture, but overall is a good size and shape. The Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush is very nice and picks up the cream shadow very well.

Mary Kay Cream Eye Color

This peachy-gold shadow is gorgeousssss. I am a huge cream shadow fan, so I have a lot of experience with this type of product. I’m still testing this out for wear time and all that good stuff, so stay tuned on a formal review!
