My glittered brush holder.
I don’t know what it is about this glitter brush holder that makes me so darn happy, but every time I look at it, I fall in love all over again. It’s silly, but we can’t help the things we love. And it was basically free to make, so hey! Bonus.
I read a Redbook interview with Connie Britton about why she chose to join the cast of Nashville, and she said, “I don’t know, I guess I was lured by the sequins!” Trust me girl, I feel ya.
Now this one may seem like a no-duh, but I am actually not a big chocolate eater. I’ve always been one for sour sweets and hard candy, and I usually pass on the chocolate. Think Sour Patch Kids, Jolly Ranchers and Sour Skittles. Lately though, chocolate has been on my mind and in my stomach. Glad Valentine’s is over!
Luckily though, I have found Skinny Cow Peanut Butter Creme Filled Chocolates, which are not as terrible as a full size candy bar. They are certainly NOT healthy, but a pack of these certainly beats a Snickers (in calories and taste, if you ask me). I received them in the Influenster Jolly VoxBox and promptly devoured the whole box. Not at all once. But even if I did, this is a judgement-free zone.
I received this Celtic Sea Salt in a Conscious Box, and ever since I have been smitten. Roasted veggies? Sea salt! Baked potatoes? Sea salt! Something about the large, chunky texture really works for me. Only bummer is that the salt doesn’t dispense very easily from the sprinkle side of the container. Bigger holes, please.
This isn’t the first time I’ve raved about avocado toast, and it certainly won’t be the last. Sometimes I like it with just a dash of sea salt (of course) and a drizzle of honey, and other times I like to mix the avocado with white beans and layer it with a fried or poached egg. Avocado, white bean and egg toast has become a regular weekend meal for me, breakfast or otherwise.
