Urban Decay has reintroduced their lipstick line with new packaging and a new formula. Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick ($22) promises creamy, pigment-rich, hydrating, long-lasting color. I’ve had my eye on these since they launched After just a few weeks of using these two shades, I have to agree with their tagline that these new moisturizing lipsticks are “creamy, badass luxury.”

Liar is described as a pinky-brown nude (my absolute favorite). It was slightly pinker than I anticipated- I would say it’s a brownish-pink rather than a pinky-brown. This is the perfect lip color to wear anywhere, anytime. It’s a warm-toned pink, but I think it would complement just about any skin tone. Liar is one of their top-selling shades, and for a good reason! This is not the longest lasting lipstick I’ve tried, but it did last me from breakfast to lunch, a good four to five hours.

Strip (exclusive to UrbanDecay.com) is described as a sheer medium mauve-nude. I really don’t find it to be sheer at all, but it is extremely wearable nonetheless. It adds a little drama, but I’d still wear it during the day. I bought this shade on a whim, and I’m glad I did, because I am obsessed! This is my new favorite lipstick. This lasted four to five hours.

Both shades are very creamy and soft on the lips. I have extremely dry, peeling lips, and I had zero problems with these lipsticks. My lips felt hydrated and soft while wearing.
