Subscription Boxes

My Ireland Box Craft

My Ireland Box Craft

MyIrelandBox is a monthly subscription box I had not heard of until I was contacted recently. They have a food box (EU and UK only) and a craft box which is open to the US. I’ve only tried one craft box before and was disappointed because it only had one surprise in each box, so if you didn’t care for that item, there wasn’t much you could do. I was pleased to see MyIrelandBox Craft has several lovely surprises in each box.

Thomas and Katharine, husband and wife, launched My Ireland Box based in Dingle, Co. Kerry, Ireland.

We send a surprise of the best of Irish craft every month to subscribers. We drive around Ireland visiting craftspeople in their workshops and choose the best Irish treasures for our boxes each month!

The craft box is €30 per month plus €5 shipping (currently $46 USD including shipping). Seems pricey, but the total value of everything in my box was $72 USD! Normally the service is a recurring monthly subscription, but they are offering the May box as a one-time purchase. Your last chance to sign up for the May box is April 30, so get going!

Check out past boxes!

Now, let’s get in to what came in the April box!

Olyart Sheep Tote Bag

How cute is this Olyart canvas tote bag?! They have an ETSY shop where you can buy online, and they even have this I Love Ireland tote bag available. Olyart is based in Galway.

Clare Jordan Ceramics Pocelain Dove

This porcelain dove pin from Clare Jordan Ceramics is so lovely. I browsed her online shop, and everything is so delicate and beautiful. And she ships to the US! Clare is based in Limerick.

Sinead Lough Pottery Bird

This ceramic bird from Sinead Lough Pottery makes me so happy! I love the little wing detail. Sinead is based in Dingle.

Deirdre McKenna Aloft Painting

This print is from a painting by Deirdre McKenna from her trip on a Jeanie Johnson replica ship from Dingle to Spain. It’s lovely that it arrived matted.

Place Gra Pouch Rene Mullin

A lastly this zipper pouch is from Placed. Grá means ‘love,’ and I love this pouch. It is made with 100% Irish linen – you’ll have t to watch my video to see the gorgeous blue lining inside. René Mullin from Placed is based in Belfast.
