Cookbook Giveaway: Made With Love

I am so excited to introduce you to Made With Love: The Meals On Wheels Family Cookbook. Meals on Wheels Association of America provides more than one million meals a day to seniors across the country. It is the oldest and largest national organization of its kind. More than 100 celebrities, chefs, athletes, writers and politicians, from Paula Deen and Martha Stewart to Al Roker and Dr. Maya Angelou, contributed to this cookbook to help the organization’s fight to end senior hunger in America.

This cookbook is full of family favorites. Xavier and I tried Dave Loebsack’s Sloppy Joes (my favorite), Becky Wahlund’s Cheesy Tomato Basil Chicken Breasts, James Clyburn’s Hamburger Casserole and Jennifer Huffman’s Champion Chicken Casserole (Xavier’s favorite). All of these dishes had one thing in common – comfort food! My favorite recipe is the Sloppy Joes. Talk about easy and delicious. I’ve never made my own sloppy joe sauce before, and now I don’t think I’ll ever go back to Manwich.  Xavier absolutely loved the Champion Chicken because the “breadcrumbs” for the casserole were Cheez-Its. He said the leftovers were even better.

We’re still not done with this cookbook! With more than 100 family-inspired recipes, this will surely become one of my go-to cookbooks. One the list for next week? Fran Drescher’s House Chicken.

Now on to the giveaway! If you’d like to receive a copy of the Made With Love cookbook, you must be 18 years or older and live in the United States. Please see the Rafflecopter widget below for entry options.

My favorite family/comfort food from home was fried potato chunks. My mom would sometimes put them in white gravy and we would eat it over fresh homemade biscuits.

Mom used to make pecan pie, which my sister and I helped make, and now it’s my specialty. It’s quite amazing, if I may say so myself
