Easy BBQ Turkey Loaf

After a long day at work, the last thing I want to do is labor over a complicated dinner recipe. I need something quick and simple, so this meal is perfect because it’s one of those mix-everything-together dishes. Also, the foil over the baking sheets makes for easy clean up (BONUS!).

Xavier demanded I put this in the “Boyfriend Approved” category. It was so moist and full of flavor. And did I mention effortless? Oh, I did? Whoops. He’s already asking that I make it again next week!

Easy BBQ Turkey Loaf
Serves: 4
  • Cooking spray
  • 1lb lean ground turkey
  • ½ cup Kraft Honey Hickory Smoked BBQ sauce (divided)
  • 2 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • dash of pepper
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray liberally with cooking spray.
  2. Combine ground turkey, ⅓ cup BBQ sauce, feta cheese, and spices in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  3. Place meat mixture on foil-covered baking sheet and shape into a log (see picture below).
  4. With a pastry brush, cover the outside of the loaf with the remaining BBQ sauce, being careful to keep the sauce on the loaf, not the foil.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the inside is no longer pink.
